K-Swiss Installs SoftShoe in China

Application links Taiwan, China and California product development staff over the Internet.

KIRKLAND, WA  April 26, 2000 – Global Trading Systems, Inc. announced today that K-Swiss Inc. – a leading supplier of athletic footwear for high performance sports use, fitness activities and casual wear – recently completed the implementation of SoftShoe in their Dongguang, China office. This is the third K-Swiss office automated with the application and now links all Product Development teams in Taiwan, China and the California headquarters over the Internet for the exchange of product specifications, sample requests and sample status.

Many of our suppliers now develop and produce footwear in China, resulting in the expansion of our operations there.
