Product Manager

With Product Manager, your staff can capture and communicate Bills of
Materials including components and material details, associated
specifications, mechanicals and construction comments to all.
Features
-
Ability to define your own components,
materials and various bill of materials templates to reduce the time it
takes to create and revise a BOM.
-
Templates can be defined for a host of
products including fabrics, sets, single unit items sold separately,
packaging, unassembled components of a finished good to be shipped
elsewhere for further processing and finished components being shipped
elsewhere for packaging in a set. Bills of Materials can be nested in
one-to-many relationships. For example, a set will consist of BOMs for
each finished product (duvet, shams, etc). There will also be links to the
BOMs for each fabric used in all the products in the set.
-
Excel-like user interface eases the transition for Product Development
staff to an automated environment. It provides a familiar environment for
users creating or revising specifications, but has an underlying database
that solves the problems of version control and reporting.
-
Customizable headers and folders allow
work to be organized by your corporate divisions, product categories,
brands, style names/colorways and lines.
-
A flexible Materials Library to better
control usage and costs, coordination of recalls and batch changes to
lines.
-
Built-in change management tool to
monitor and audit changes to specifications. You’ll always know who
changed what and when.
-
A common database of product specs
that ensures EVERYONE, regardless of location, is working from the same
specification.
