Sourcing Manager
SoftShoe’s Sourcing Manager gives your team the tools they
need to work collaboratively with your global trading partners. It provides a
common environment for managing Orders, planning and tracking critical
production tasks, coordinating and reporting quality assurance inspections and
capturing shipping events and information. Orders that used to take days or
weeks to confirm can now be delivered, viewed and confirmed inside of a day.
Queries by your staff, overseas offices, suppliers and even customers on orders
and shipments are always available.
Integration
Orders generated by your ERP or Order management system can be manually
transferred to Sourcing Manager or received through an electronic interface. Once the
Order has been received in Sourcing Manager, it is broken down by line/product and
shipment. SoftShoe can handle orders with multiple lines/products and multiple shipments.
Users can easily review all Order details such as shipment quantities and required ship
dates.

One view of the World
Order status, including Production, QA and Shipment information, are
easily reviewed and updated from one screen with SoftShoes unique and highly
intuitive 3-tier Order Status screen.
Order Information and Production Events
Provides a summary of Order details and allows Users to plan and track
dates for critical events related to the Factory such as components arrival,
cutting, stitching, lasting and production completion. The system automatically calculates
remaining Order balances. The grid view also displays whether or not events are early,
late or on time allowing you to anticipate delays and reschedule events or commitments.
Quality Assurance
By providing a forward view of production status (queries can be
made by factory, country, customer, etc.), your inspectors are able to more efficiently
schedule on-site inspections. As importantly, inspection results and any QA alerts or
product quality issues can be posted back to Sourcing Manager by the QA team. This
information is then immediately available to everyone else on the system.
Shipment
Sourcing Manager allows you to follow the goods from Ex-factory to
the point where your existing logistics system receives them. Outbound logistics (getting
the goods from the factory to the end customer/distribution point) could involve use of
your own freight forwarder, your customers or that of a contracted manufacturer. In
all these cases, Sourcing Manager provides an integrated environment for capturing and
communicating this information. Interfaces can be developed so that Sourcing Manager can
receive EDI or other data inputs from Freight Forwarders.
SoftShoes 3-tier grid view provides everyone with a complete
picture of Order Status Order, Production, QA and shipping information. Sourcing
Manager gives you forward visibility.
